1. The template for the manuscript can be downloaded here.
  2. Each manuscript can have one or more authors.
  3. Manuscripts have to be submitted online through JIWE's website.
  4. The submission file must be in Microsoft Word DOCX, LibreOffice/OpenOffice ODT, or RTF document file format.
  5. The manuscript must include:
    1. A title ideally of not more than 15 words. The title must be descriptive, reflective of the content, and contain most commonly searchable keywords,
    2. An abstract of 200 - 300 words,
    3. Maximum of 7 Keywords,
    4. An Acknowledgment section at the end of the manuscript for sponsor acknowledgements. If the research is conducted without funding, then state "The research for this paper was not funded."
  6. The manuscript for research articles should be between 3,500 and 10,000 words.
  7. The language of the article must be in English. Foreign terms may be introduced but must be accompanied by an English translation.
  8. It is the responsibility of the author to ensure that the standard of the language is acceptable prior to submission of the manuscript. JIWE recommends non-native user of the English language to seek assistance from a professional language editing service if he is not confident with his command of the language. Authors are encouraged to use a good grammar checking software or web service, such as Grammarly, before submission of the manuscript.
  9. Manuscript text should be single-spaced, use a 10-point font, and employ italics rather than underline for emphasis. All illustrations, figures, and tables are to be placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end. 
  10.  For materials available only online, a URL is recommended as part of the reference. Where a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is available, please provide the URL for the DOI instead. 
  11. Manuscripts should be separated into several sections. Section headings should be numbered sequentially using Arabic numerals. One sub-level is allowed, using uppercase letters.
